Our current debate

Well we just realized that Aaron has a week off of school before summer classes start. (That was weird - I wanted to say WE have a week off - I have at least a year off!!!). So we are talking about going home. Problem? Work! It seems to always interfere with my plans!

So we could come home for a few days - Aaron and I can have free engagement pictures taken and I need to take care of a few other things wedding related. I can't miss all 5 days of work next week, but maybe 3, for sure 2. We'll see. I don't know if I'd take off at the beginning or the end of the week either.
Another issue - MOM, take note!!! We are going to be watching Fletcher ("yay, Mom!" - Marley) and we have to make sure that that will be okay with everyone at home. No surprises this time.

I think it is official that the wedding is now, once again, at Aaron's house. It's where we would have wanted it the whole time anyway simply because it's more special that it's one of our houses, and now the situation allows for it. So I must order new invitations (only one part of many pieces of the invitation).
I have decided on colors - obviously we are black and white, but my flowers will be white and my bridesmaids will have pink roses. Cool thing? The first bridesmaid will have dark pink roses and as they go along, the colors will get lighter until the last bridesmaid will have a light pink bouquet. The cool things they can do these days!!

That's my update for the day.

Aaron's blog yesterday was supposed to say, "You can tell a lot about a person by how they handle three things: lost luggage, a rainy day, and tangled Christmas lights". True, huh? I thought so.. I'd add traffic though too, living in L.A.

I thought I'd spare the men pink roses. They will all be wearing white ones. Pink just wouldn't look right.
Courtney's flowers will be the darkest pink, then KC, and then Rachel, Ashleigh, Ilalia, and Angie.

I understand that it might "date" your pictures, so do whatever you want, see if I care...I'm just a lowly photographer. There's not much I can say to change your mind. We'll just see whose turn out better. I hope that KC's flowers will be a lovely second to darkest shade of pink. What will the rest of the order be? Are the boys going to be wearing pink roses on their tuxes? These are just questions photographers like to know.

Sure, good timing on the dogs since i haven't gotten around to the carpet cleaning chore yet. But you gotta come at the end of the week cas Courtney needs to see Fletcher and Marley dog and she is coming home on Thursday night. She thinks the house is sooo quiet and this will prove that it is not always the case.

Engagement pics would be free, so most likely we would not even use them - just gotta get the money's worth. The couple has narrowed the beach pictures down to two and likes one better but the bride is wearing a scarf in it and that dates the picture... maybe. So have no fear. And the roses, yes, we agree that will be cool. Courtney will go first so her roses would be darkest, then KC, etc. What do you think about that, photographer?

One quick question Aaron and Jena...didn't you already get engagement pictures taken??? What happened to those beautiful masterpieces of pictorial excellence. They were as wonderful as photographs for engagements get these days. And by the way, I spoke with one of your bridesmaids and she says that she thinks the pink rose idea is really cool, but is still dissappointed about the engagement pictures. Also, she hopes you choose the beginning of next week because she leaves for Hawaii on Wednesday.
